The serial number won't tell you anything you don't already know, and certainly won't tell anyone else who did the wiring, the assembly, the setup, the paint, much less who built it.

Can somebody please explain the serial numbers for me. I'm specifically looking at the Stratocaster. They all have an "R" prefix, but beyond that, I'm lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
