Hey my loves! My name is Danielle and you may well know me as Ebonix. I am a long time simmer and gamer, with a passion for simulation, RPG and story-rich games.

I have been creating custom content and mods for The Sims 4 since I primarily focus on hairstyles for black and brown sims such as braided, loc'd and curly styles in a bid to fill the gaps that are being left when it comes to content for sims of colour.

I am a Twitch Partner, an EA Game Changer and full time content creator, focusing on building a positive and inclusive community across my platforms, raising money for meaningful causes and providing nothing, but good vibes. The Why. My goal has always been to allow simmers to see themselves in the game and bring representation where it was lacking. This goal has expanded and I am now working towards bringing about and making a personal change in the gaming industry all together.

We all deserve to see ourselves in games, and should not be limited to lack-luster options or be an after thought when it comes to providing accurate character attributes for black gamers and gamers of colour.

Simming in Melanin. My name is Dani and I am the Sims custom content creator Ebonixsims. I create custom content for The Sims 4! I have many years of simming experience under my belt and I love the opportunities it has presented to me.

One thing that concerned me about the franchise, was the lack of content available for sims and simmers of colour to give them the freedom to create sims that represent themselves. The lack of representation lead to a lack of self love and worth on my part.

I never made sims that looked like me. I thought their skin tones looked horrible, as did the hair!! The two afro and cornrow styles just weren't cutting it! I have made it my mission to rid the game of the lack of representation and have spent the last year and a half dedicating my time to creating and converting custom content for sims and simmers of colour. I have since seen an increase in the number of sims of colour, especially black sims, increase and I only want it to increase further.

All forms of support are appreciated, and I hope to one day make a career out of something I love very much. This is just my starting point, as it will allow me to spend more time developing content to make the game more representative.
